Would a bright, attractive smile improve my self-confidence?

Would a bright, attractive smile improve your confidence?

Employment success and social acceptance are significantly influenced by our appearance. A confident smile radiates a positive image. Consistent lack of a smile may suggest timidness, lack of confidence, personal problems, even unfriendliness. When your smile is healthy and attractive, many benefits follow. When you smile, others smile at you!

A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of a face. What is your smile awareness?

1. Do you notice other people's smiles?
2. When you read a fashion magazine , are your eyes drawn to the model's smile?
3. Is there someone's smile you admire? (Why?)
4. Are you self-conscious about smiling in front of others?
5. Do you put your hand up to cover your smile?
6. What feature about your smile do you feel other people notice?

Do you feel self-conscious about your smile? Because of the many advances in cosmetic dentistry, you can predictably eliminate stained, chipped, or misshapen teeth. In most situations, we are able to show you what your teeth and smile will look like BEFORE any changes are actually made. We use computer imaging software to complete a virtual makeover with your photograph, and we alter a model of your teeth to determine optimal dimensions and positions. When you are able to visualize your improved smile BEFORE changes are made to your teeth, much of your anxiety and uncertainty can be comfortably addressed.

To learn more about the latest advances in Cosmetic Dentistry and how you (or a friend!) can have a more attractive smile, take a website tour of actual services performed in our office. Then, why not accept our invitation for a complimentary get-acquainted office visit including a brief smile analysis? We love sharing Cosmetic Dentistry's possibilities for a more confident you!

Brightening

The upper teeth were brightened at home at the patient's convenience, and their brighter appearance can be seen in contrast to the lower teeth which were not treated prior to this photograph.

Recontouring

A veneer was placed on one of the front teeth. All of the other upper teeth simply were brightened and recontoured on their edges.

Anterior Veneers

Susan knew her teeth were uneven. We helped her have a more pleasing smile with porcelain veneers.

These anterior veneers look very natural and contain no hint of the problems with the former smile.

Mark always felt that his smile was not attractive. We covered his four front teeth with porcelain veneers, allowing him to smile with confidence.

Porcelain Crowns

Sometimes aged, antiquated dental restorations spoil a smile. Our all-porcelain and porcelain-to-gold crowns not only blend naturally with surrounding teeth, but they cannot possibly corrode and look dark at the gums.

Sometimes the fear of a large fee causes someone to delay necessary treatment. When Shirley realized she could budget the cost of her all-procelain crowns with extended payments, she was able to make the decision which improved her smile forever.

Direct Resin Bonding

This young girl needed a reasonable solution to improve the undersized front teeth in her smile. Direct resin bounding was our solution for her.

When this young girl came to our office, she simply wanted her "yellow front tooth fixed." We used a quality dental resin with a direct resin bonding technique to make the filling disappear into the natural tooth structure.

Joe said he never liked the gap between his front teeth. In one hour, we corrected Joe's smile with direct resin bonding.

Dark front teeth are the most difficult to work with. This patient came to us years ago before "tooth brightening" was possible. She wanted her front gap closed and her teeth were multi-shaded! Direct resin bonding with quality resin gave her a very natural result.

Direct resin bonding is usually our best solution for unsatisfactory teeth in a smile that involves just part of the tooth.

Direct resin bonding in several areas of several teeth can dramatically improve a smile.
